Ammonia Terminal in the Port of Hamburg
In the context of the global energy crisis and the need for decarbonization, hydrogen is gaining importance as an energy carrier, as well as the transport of hydrogen. As a leading hydrogen derivative vector, ammonia facilitates H2 transport and can contribute to international trade in green hydrogen.
The planned ammonia terminal at the Blumensandhafen of MB Energy and enport by MB Energy will create infrastructure that enables the import and redistribution of hydrogen.
For the project, we conducted an environmental impact assessment to determine, describe, and evaluate the anticipated effects of the project on the environment, and we prepared the environmental impact assessment report – crucial components in the approval process. By leveraging a broad range of expertise within HPC AG, we also provided the client with advisory support on all environmental issues and questions throughout the entire process.
